Description
Supervisors can struggle to know what their role is when a supervisee is going for accreditation. How much should you be involved? How much are you responsible for what your supervisee writes? How can you best help them with answering the Reflective Criteria and choosing their case material?
Our guide gives answers to these questions and more. We will look at your eligibility to supervise through accreditation, the limits of your role and different ways you can choose to engage with the process. We will offer discussion points for Criterion 1 and 2 of the Reflective Criteria so you are prepared to have those conversations with your supervisee. We also offer suggestions on how to complete the Supervisor Statement, including making reference to the SCoPEd competences including three different example answers.
This guide is best read alongside our Complete Guide to Accreditation and also our guide to the SCoPEd Framework.
